I’ve been waiting for my forever home for over 180 days, and I’m hoping the right person will finally come along and see just how special I am.
I might be 16 years old, but I’m the best 16-year-old lady you’ll ever meet!
I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a gentle soul, a big heart, and so much love still to give. I enjoy cosy naps, sunny windowsills, and most importantly, being close to my favourite humans. I love sitting on laps, soaking up gentle pats, and following my people around like the little shadow I am. I’m happiest when I’m part of your day, whether that’s relaxing beside you or keeping you company around the house. I’m a big fan of affection, and I’ll happily show my appreciation with my lovely purrs… and yes, I may even drool a little when I’m extra happy! But that’s just my way of saying I’m completely content and enjoying every moment with you.
For a senior lady, I’m actually quite confident and enjoy meeting new people. I’m not the type to hide away just because someone new comes through the door, I’m usually curious and ready to say hello. Of course, some things can be a little much (those noisy lawn mowers are definitely not my favourite!), so I may retreat somewhere quiet until I know everything is okay. Once I realise someone is friendly, I’ll be right back out looking for pats.
I’m looking for a peaceful home where I can enjoy my retirement years. I would do best in a home with no children under 6 years old who understand my need for gentle handling and a relaxed pace. I’d also prefer to be your one and only pet, as I love having my own space and being the centre of my person’s world.
