Little bit about Oreo

Hi, I’m Oreo!

I’m a beautiful young girl, only 8 months old, and I’m looking for a loving home where I can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe.

When I first came into the shelter, I was quite shy and unsure of the world around me. Since moving into foster care, though, I’ve really started to come out of my shell and show everyone what a sweet and affectionate girl I am. I just need a little time and patience when meeting new people and settling into new surroundings.

Once I trust you, I’m all about the cosy life! You’ll often find me curled up asleep beside you, snuggled on your lap, or tucked under the covers. I absolutely love pats and cuddles, and I’m a champion biscuit-maker — although I can’t promise I’ll be picky about where I decide to knead!

I’m not overly interested in toys or playtime. My idea of happiness is spending quiet time with my people, soaking up affection and enjoying all the snuggles I can get.

I can sometimes be startled by loud noises, so it’s important that I have a few safe places to retreat to if things become overwhelming. Because of this, I would do best in a calm and quiet home, with no children under 6 years old. I’ll need a family who understands that I may take a little while to adjust, but I promise I’m worth the wait.
