Hi there, I’m Leia. I’m nine months old, with a sunny heart and a tail that sways like a metronome when I’m excited to explore. I’m the kind of pup who greets each new moment with a stretch, a sniff, and a hopeful wag toward whatever adventure is next. I’ve learned to feel at home both indoors and outside, soaking up the warmth of sun on a doorstep and breathing in the fresh breeze on a porch or along a fence line. I’m ready to grow with you, to learn the whispers of daily life, and to fill your days with genuine, everyday joy.
Other dogs are some of my favorite people—a lively dog park might as well be a playground, full of zoomies, curious sniffs, and friendly tail wags when we meet. I’ve lived with several other dogs, including siblings, so I’m used to sharing space and learning from them. I’m generally well adapted and respond best when I’m guided with calm, kind consistency. I crave daily opportunities to learn about life—new places, new routines, and gentle training moments that feel like fun. My energy is moderate, so a proper walk to stretch my legs, a sniff-filled outing to satisfy my curiosity, and a cozy nap in a sunlit spot round out a perfect day. I do have a history of digging, so a secure yard with sturdy fencing helps me feel safe and confident.
I’d flourish in a home with a patient, dog-friendly routine and someone who enjoys ongoing socialization with other dogs. There are no known child-related issues, and I’m happiest when there are gentle people around who will guide me with love and consistency. Indoors and outdoors living suits me, and the right family will give me daily enrichment—lives full of little discoveries, quiet cuddles, and someone who understands that I learn best one step at a time.
