Hi, I’m Sabine—a year-old with a soft, brave heart and a tail that sways like a metronome in the sun. I’m the kind of dog who notices every rustle of the leaves, every passing breeze, and then settles back beside you with a content sigh. I’m steady, curious, and quietly hopeful, the sort of companion who makes a small corner of the house feel warmer just by being there. People tell me I carry a gentleness that invites trust, and I love moving through a day at a comfortable, unhurried pace.
Who I am: I’m sociable with other dogs and I remember the fun of a shared yard—from sniffing trails to the soft padding of paws as we wander side by side. I’ve lived with other dogs before, so I know how to move in a crowd and read the room. I’ve got a heart that’s eager to learn, day by day, with gentle guidance and daily opportunities to discover life’s little lessons. I’m not a high-energy gymnast, but I’m not shy about a walk or a sunbeam—my energy sits in the middle, spread between stillness and curiosity. I do have a bit of a digging streak, so I’ll need a space that’s secure outdoors where I can satisfy that instinct safely.
Best for me is a home that welcomes dogs and understands that any newcomers need a moment to meet potential dog siblings. I should meet any dogs in the home before settling in, to make sure we click. I’m indoors and outdoors by nature—happy to curl up on a sunny patch inside and curious to explore outside when the door opens. A home with secure outdoor access, like an enclosed backyard or an attached enclosure, would help me settle in and stay safe while I learn the ropes. I’ve got no known issues with kids, and I would flourish in a calm, patient family who treats daily learning as a team ritual.
If you think we could be a good match, I’d love to meet you. Come say hello and let me show you how my quiet warmth can brighten your days.
