Hi, I’m Poppy. I’m a tiny pup with a big heart, and a nose that loves to chase the world in little swirling circles of curiosity. When I find a sunny spot and a soft bed, I’m content to watch the day go by with my tail tapping out a gentle rhythm. A friendly voice, a familiar scent, and a moment of your hand on my back can light up my whole day. I’m ready for adventures, big and small, and I’ll greet you with a wag that sounds like a promise.
Other dogs are some of my favorite people—meeting a wagging buddy is a highlight, a cue to sniff, spin, and share a friendly nudge. I seem dog social, so I’ll look for a pal to explore with or simply to keep me company on busy days. I love daily opportunities to learn about life—sniffing new corners, listening to your routines, and growing alongside most dogs. I’m adaptable and steady, comfortable with changes in places and voices. My energy sits in the middle of the room: I’ll stroll beside you, then settle into a sunbeam for a long nap. I don’t have special fencing needs.
I don’t have known issues with kids, and I’m grateful for calm, kind hands to guide me. A home with patient routines and space to learn every day would be ideal. If you already have a dog, we might become fast friends; if not, I’m happy to be the only one and soak up all the love. No special requirements for a yard or fence, just a cozy place to call my own and people who will spend time teaching me through gentle, daily adventures.
