Little bit about Chocolate Chip

Hello, I’m Chocolate Chip, a hopeful 3-month-old with a nose for new smells and a tail that seems to have its own weather forecast—every wag predicts a good day. I’m small enough to tuck into a lap, but curious enough to chase a fluttering leaf across the yard. When I meet you, I’ll tilt my head, flash a bright, playful grin, and zone in on your voice as if I’ve known you forever. There’s a sparkle in my eyes that says I’m ready to learn the world, one gentle step at a time.

Other dogs are some of my favorite people – I love the company of a friendly, dog-social playmate. My energy is balanced: I’m not a rocket, but I’m also not shy about a squeaky pause. I adore gentle sniffing sessions, soft cuddles, and the thrill of a new adventure. What I need to feel safe is a steady routine and patient guidance as I learn how to navigate life. I thrive with daily opportunities to grow—puppies, most dogs, little challenges that help me become braver and wiser. I’m pretty adaptable, settling in quickly to new spaces and people, and I’m happy to fit into a home that respects my pace.

A home with a calm rhythm and someone who appreciates a puppy’s curiosity would suit me best. I’m comfortable indoors or outdoors, and I don’t mind wandering a bit when supervised. I get along with other dogs, and there’s no known history of issues with other pets. No known child-related issues either, so I might fit into a family with kids who are ready to practice kindness and patience. I’d love a family who can provide gentle guidance, regular social time, and a few explorations to share with me as I learn the ropes.

If you’ve got a space in your day for a curious, eager-to-learn little friend, please come meet me or apply to adopt. I’m Chocolate Chip, 3 months old, and I’m ready to grow with you, one sunny moment and one new sniff at a time.
