Little bit about Monty

Hi, I’m Monty! I’m a young cross breed with a curious nose and a gentle personality.

I’m friendly but can be a little unsure at first, so I like to take my time to explore and check things out before I feel fully comfortable.

I get excited when I see people and sometimes jump up or paw for attention, so I’m best suited to a home with children over 12 who can interact with me calmly. I respond well to gentle, predictable handling and enjoy attention when I feel safe.

I like going for walks and exploring, especially when I can sniff around, and I enjoy treats. Toys aren’t really my thing yet, and I’m a bit sensitive to noisy or busy environments, so a quiet, calm home helps me settle. I'm a bit too energetic for an apartment so a home with a yard would suit me better.

I do need to meet any resident dogs first, I would love a canine companion in my new home – I feel much more confident when I have my doggo friend nearby.
