I’m a 3-year-old Australian Kelpie girl with a clever mind, a loyal heart, and so much love to give… but right now, I’m still waiting for my person.
I try to be brave every day, but shelter life isn’t where I’m meant to be. I’m happiest when I’m close to my human—learning, exploring, or just quietly being by your side. Training time lights me up, not just because I love to learn, but because it means I get to connect with you. That’s what I’m really searching for… connection.
I have a moderate energy level and a big eagerness to please. I don’t need chaos or constant excitement—just someone who’s patient, present, and willing to help me grow. I’d do best in a home with older kids (12+) who understand I need gentle, respectful interactions and a bit of space to feel safe.
Right now, I’m living life on my own, and I think I’d be happiest as your one and only dog. I can make doggy friends, but I need slow, thoughtful introductions to feel comfortable. Small animals are a bit confusing for me, so a home without them would help me feel more at ease.
More than anything… I just want a home.
A place where I don’t have to wonder what’s next.
A person who sees me, believes in me, and won’t give up on me.
